You can save energy if you change your air conditioning in summer and heat down in the winter. This is a good way to save energy because you can cut your heating and cooling bills by 20 percent. It is also a good idea to keep your shades down in the summer to help keep your home cool, and at night turn off the AC and open the windows.
Turn your water heater to the lowest setting. In most cases maintaining a low set, your water heater will still provide you with enough hot water for what you need, and you’ll save energy as well.
Weatherize your home to save energy. Seal with weather-stripping your home and fell asleep, and of course, you will not want to overlook add more insulation. A house weatherized will use far less energy, and will save you money.
There is no way to control energy costs, but you have no control over how much money you spend on energy. All you have to do is take control and save energy.
