Most likely, at some point in your life, you've been wearing socks. Sure, there are times when we wear sandals, but if you've ever worn shoes, you've probably been wearing socks. While the crazy socks are constantly increasing in popularity, custom socks have been just as popular. If you are looking for socks for men, visit Philosockphy.
1. The type of socks.
To keep things simple, we're going to cover the three basic types of socks:
1. the ankle
2. The crew
3. Knee length
1. Ankle socks
Ankle socks, as you might have guessed, go down to the ankle. These are standard socks. Although popular, it is not always the best for customization as it does not allow much room for actual custom design.
2. Crew socks
Crew socks are very popular for crazy custom socks. Crew stockings are designed for mid-calf reach. This allows for more space with the custom design but is not elevated beyond the knee.
3. Knee High Socks
Knee High Socks, as you might have guessed, go up to the knee or a little higher. They are usually popular for sports like softball or baseball, for parties and festivals, or for those who enjoy knee-high socks.
Which one should you order?
We always recommend ordering crew socks for custom orders because they allow enough room for a full custom design, but they are not knee-high, which is something many people would not wear on a typical occasion. Crew socks can be worn both at work and casually, making them more practical.
Make sure to check the material of the sock as well, as a material such as 100% cotton will be very different from a sock made of 100% polyester, in terms of how it is worn and how it is also printed.
For example, colorful socks for men will likely not have a very clear print, while polyester will have a more refined printed design. When choosing your design, be sure to check with the company to ensure it can understand the type of design that interests you.
