Football, volleyball and karate are the sports that draw the most attention in the Municipality of Lopare, with this area also having the largest number of clubs.

Football

The oldest sports club in Lopare, is the FC Majevica, presently a member of the Republika Srpska Third League. It was founded in 1933, has 83 players and is the owner of its own football-field. The football club bearing the name of Priboj - its home town - was formed 20 years ago, while before, it had played under the name of Proleter. Now it plays in the Fourth League, with the clubs Semberija, Majevica and Birca. It maintains good cooperation with the First League club Rudar, from Ugljevik. The FC Sloboda, from Mrtvica, has 36 players, and plays in the Brcko Inter-Municipality League, while the FC Jedinstvo, from Kortesi, founded a few years ago, assumes first place in this League. FC Partizan, from Bobetino Brdo, plays in the Ugljevik Municipal League. It has 65 players and its own football- field, and finances itself through donations and help from the local municipality.

Karate

The Majevica Karate Club, in Lopare, has 60 members, who have participated in numerous state and international karate meets, and cooperates well with almost all similar teams in RS and Yugoslavia.


Volleyball

Lopare is also proud of its volleyball players. Volleyball schools have been established there. The boy's team has four times been a finalist in the Republika Srpska Cup Championships, while they are at the top when it comes to league competition. The girl's team is not yet competing in the leagues, but is seriously preparing for this. It has some 40 talented girls. Recreational sports are also popular, with sports and physical education also being an important feature of Lopare schools
