Transportation network

The fact that it was founded a crossroad means that Lopare is well connected by road to Bijeljina, Brčko and Tuzla. The municipality has 530 km of roads, of three categories.

In distinction to the earlier caravan roads, the region is now traversed by modern asphalt roads. It is expected that the remaining 360km of side-roads, serving buildings, forests and farm land, soon become modernized.

Thanks to the good management of highways and regional roads, Lopare is well connect to almost all places in Republic and FR Yugoslavia by bus routes, and they are being maintained by a numerous of transportation corporations.
